I have spent more than 30 years in supporting healthcare and life sciences organisations to deliver more effectively and efficiently through the novel use of technology. I'm a recognised (and award winning) expert in the sourcing and delivery of transformational change in health and care organisations in the UK, US and continental Europe. I understand how changing business models require fundamental change to the technology and operating models of the services that support and enable enterprises to thrive. I also understand that transforming those organisations needs a combination of strong project delivery discipline with a deep understanding of how to effectively deliver lasting change. And in a world where many of health and care services are sourced through third parties, being aware of the implications on the complex ecosystem of supply is a critical success factor in ensuring transformational change delivers better care for patients and citizens. Recently I've led major programmes that delivered interoperability between systems and promoted integrated care records to support the direct care of patients.
