Maru Sokolowski

She works as Creative Services Director in The Community (Miami), leading the creative services department with a team of 12+. She was in charge of the awards strategy for the TC network, Creative recruitment for US offices and the resource management for the creative department across the US. Next to the Founder & CCO ( Joaquín Molla) , she runs the community global creative council. Before joining the community Maru was the Regional Creative Manager at Saatchi & Saatchi Latam in Miami. Together with Javier Campopiano (CCO, Conill Saatchi & Saatchi and CCO, Saatchi & Saatchi Latam), she worked as a liaison among the offices, coordinating projects related to the press and communications for new work. At the same time, Maru was part of the Global Creative Connection Team led by Pablo del Campo (Worldwide Creative Director, Saatchi &Saatchi). They were dedicated to Connectivity and Collaboration among Saatchi creative teams around the world. She has worked at FCB, Ogilvy & Mather, and DAVID. For three years, she was the Creative Coordinator at DAVID, reporting to Joaquín Cubria and Ignacio Ferioli. At the same time and together with Gaston Bigio, she coordinated the Ogilvy Latina region as Regional Creative Manager, preparing and supervising internal Ogilvy festivals, creative meetings, regional events overseas, advertising festivals, internal communications, and network rankings. During that time, Ogilvy Latina won several "Regional Network of the Year" awards in Different advertising festivals (Cannes, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Antigua Festival).
