Maruja "Mari" Ibáñez

I serve as the technical subject matter expert for complex Treasury Management Services products and services, helping to demonstrate the products during the sales process in support of the Treasury Management Sales Officers. These products generate non-interest fee income for the Bank, and are sold to clients of an advanced size and complexity. I am responsible for assisting the complex sales of client acquisition and expansion of existing relationships through cross-selling. I work in collaboration with my TMSO to determine client needs and assists the delivery of formal proposals, especially when such delivery needs the support of a product demonstration. I provide guidance to less experienced associates in the work group. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In my Sales Function, I Assist in the sales process to existing and prospective banking relationships, and in support of complex product opportunities, assist in identifying appropriate clients to call. I participate in pre-bid conferences, fact-gathering analysis, and follow-up calls to identify client needs and solicit new revenue. I look for prospective cross-selling opportunities. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Proposal Development - In addition to proposal preparation, I support the proposal stage through assistance with technical explanations and demonstrations of products for large corporate, municipal, and nonprofit bank relationships based on needs gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Product Specialist - I educate retail, business, and commercial relationship managers on the Treasury Services concepts, products, features, and benefits. I serve as a general resource for branch associates through product and services knowledge.
