I'm a curious learner, who loves building commercially sound businesses. This has led me on a path of entrepreneurship (founded and grew Abyss Solutions to a 200 person, sector leading multinational company) and successful scientific research (Nature published) career. Abyss Solutions is an autonomous systems company that used applied intelligence to inspect and asset manage critical infrastructure in the water utilities, energy, shipping, ports, maritime and agriculture sector. I built and lead the commercial and sales teams that 2X our revenue for 8 years straight and generated 8 figure revenue. The core of our offering was to deliver customer focused solutions that used the latest robotics, AI, 3D models and implementable insights to dramatically cut costs for our clients and improve their safety and get them closer to netzero targets.The other hat I wore was also to work with the clients and our own R&D teams to design, built, commercialise and deliver key products. Including our state of the art software Abyss Fabric, our underwater camera system Lantern Eye and Autonomous anomaly detection software Abyss Sentinel.My passions are technology and its impact on humans. Especially at the intersection of AI, physics and consciousness. Professionally, I'm commercial executive with strengths in product market fit, enterprise sales, growth strategies, partnerships and new market entry.Personally, I enjoy the outdoors and have trekked in some very remote terrains (look at my banner pic.)
