For his whole life Mateusz has followed the simple paradigm of "through difficulties to the stars" (per aspera ad astra). He knows that hard work and has tasted the bitterness of failure yet continues to engage in new innovative ventures and always strives for more. He has chosen the organizations he has engaged with in last couple of years for a reason. Mateusz started in the back office of Millennium Bank where he learned the importance of organization internal processes. Afterwards he moved to the front office of a financial services company and learned how challenging, and at the same time rewarding, direct work with clients can be. On completing his Bachelor's degree, Mateusz experienced the B2B model in PwC's advisory department and a year later worked for a leading global NGO. For a big chunk of his career Mateusz worked as a consultant for PwC, where he he entered the Transaction Services line of business, first in Commercial Due Diligence, then in Strategy and finally in Innovation & Incentives team (focusing on Corporate VCs, technology commercialisation and Innovation Strategy). While in PwC, he was responsible for building and running a CEE-wide acceleration program targeting FinTech startups, that could be a base for new advisory services - PwC Startup Collider. For this whole time he has been engaged in many other social activities, organizing TEDx, TechCrunch “Let’s meet up” and Ignite conferences or contributing to popularization of both entrepreneurship and social issues. Mateusz was also a founder of the first accelerator focused on deep-technology projects - MIT Enterprise Forum Poland. For a peiod of time he was involved with Mazovia Capital, a Venture Capital firm, where he continued to support innovators in growing businesses with NXT Ventures brand. Today, as a deep tech venture builder, he supports innovative companies with global potential in interim management roles.
