Matt Marsden

Matt has 20 years’ experience in financial management and analysis, including 15 years working in Asia and the Middle East. Bloomberg shows that Matt has provided financial analysis and valuation on over 100 companies in Indonesia, Hong Kong / China, India, South Korea and Europe. He has extensive experience of managing teams and coaching analysts at HSBC, Samsung Securities, Daiwa Capital Markets and Valbury Asia Securities. He has also helped to raise US$ 1.6 billion acting as lead analyst and conducting international investor education for 8 IPOs. During his time at StoneTree, Matt hired and led a Finance Team that currently manages the finances of 6 operating companies across Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and Thailand, plus regulatory and tax filings for 3 holding companies. Since 2018 Matt has overseen financial operations at StoneTree Cyber Security Ventures that helped to enable revenue growth of over 200% and steer the group into profitability. Since being promoted to CFO of StoneTree International from April 2020, Matt added fund management to his responsibilities and joined the Investment Committee of Altius Wealth Management.
