Matt Denning

I am currently studying Accounting at Drake University. I plan on earning my degree in 3 years, and hope to attend Drake Law School after graduation. I am looking for an internship (preferably in accounting, but open to other areas of business) this summer to start gaining business experience. I am a hard worker, and believe that when given the chance I could be an asset to any company. Some skills that I posses are strong communication, leadership, and technology skills. I am currently enrolled in a Professional Communications course which requires students to give various types of business oriented speeches. Also, I have developed my leadership skills through my Professional Leadership & Teamwork course. This course requires each student to work in various activites that teach them how to be an effective leader in group projects. Finally, I have completed an Information Systems course that focused on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
