Matt Goodwin

Matt Goodwin is a loyal, lifetime Kansas resident currently living in Overland Park. He has been in the mortgage industry since 2008 and is proud to have completed more than 1,000 mortgage transactions for happy homeowners. Over 90% of his business has come from word of mouth referrals over the years which is something he is not only extremely proud of, but also very grateful. His motto: “never let a client close unhappy” has been a baseline for his success throughout his career. Matt truly enjoys his daily responsibilities because he loves helping others, and his mathematical talents are used to his clients’ advantages. He is a recipient of the Five Star Mortgage Professional award for 2015, 2016, and 2017. This award is given to the top 1% of all Mortgage Consultants in the Kansas City Metro Area every year. Matt graduated from Rockhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2005. Matt married his beautiful wife Jessica on October 4th, 2008. Together they have two children: Elise and Grayson. Elise started Kindergarten at St. Michael the Archangel in the summer of 2017. In Matt’s spare time he enjoys golfing, slow pitch softball, barbecue grilling and smoking meat, chasing his kids around the house, following all the local Sports Teams, and spending quality time with family and friends.
