Matteo Capancioni

Graduated in Materials Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry G. Ciamician in Bologna, I start my working career in the ICA spa group in 2012. For 4 years I am employed as a technical formulator of acrylic polymers in water dispersion, experience focused on the development of water resins for the wood coating industry, where I have the opportunity to deepen the field of chemical synthesis in polymerization reactors, also taking care of contacts with chemical companies in the sector with which to collaborate for the industrialization of production. Then I move on to the R&D setor of the formulation of UV water products for the wood sector, activity focused on the development of painting products and on the customer support for the product application. The activity has been carried out for 5 years, allowing me to create relationships of collaboration with the technical-commercial area of the company with frequent trips to our customers. At the end of 2021 I decided to evaluate a change of activity within the group, moving to the Technical Marketing department, where I occupy the position of Data Analyst specialist. Mainly employed in the analysis of new products, the definition of the core product portfolio and the evaluation of the products to be streamlined, I also follow the organization of technical meetings with the technical-commercial area. The new position allows me to cultivate relationships both with the R&D but also with the commercial area, the supply chain, with operational marketing and communication, and finally being able to broaden the horizon of knowledge of the company and its processes. Level of English B1, constantly improving. Good knowledge of the Office package, the Power automate tools, Form and Share point.
