Matthew Ahlmeyer

Matt is a two-time graduate of Bentley University with an interest in information technology and information security especially how it relates to the Internet of Things. Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Systems Audit and Control in May 2017 while completing the Honors Program curriculum. As part of the Honor's curriculum, Matt completed his Honor's Capstone on the security of the Internet of Things. Over a year and a half, Matt worked thorough the stages of developing significant, original research using a case study methodology. Matt's work was published in the Issues in Information Systems Journal and Bentley University's Fusio Journal. He was also awarded with the Best Capstone in the Integration of Business and the Arts & Sciences. Additionally, Matt graduated with Distinction with his Masters of Science in Information Technology in May 2018. Upon graduation, Matt began working on Deloitte's Risk and Financial Advisory team within the Technology Risk Assurance space. He has specialized in the design and evaluation of IT risk and control frameworks under both PCAOB and AICPA standards for a variety of clients within the financial service industry. He has effectively executed IT assessments and examined various technology platforms including SAP, PeopleSoft, Windows, Linux/Unix, Oracle, and SQL. Finally, Matt has demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to meet client and team member expectations.
