About
I received my Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 2019 as a Public Interest Designation Fellow, with institutional recognition for Pro Bono Excellence. For my first job, I was proud to return to my hometown and serve in a community that I love. I was named the first ever Confidential Law Clerk at the Colonie Justice Court (the 19th busiest trial court in New York) in September of 2019. Currently I am serving as a Judge Advocate, Special Victim’s Counsel in the United States Army, providing legal assistance to victims of sexual violence and domestic violence at Fort Hood, Texas. Born and raised in the West Albany/Colonie, NY area, I attended Shaker High School and graduated with Honors in 2012. I continued on to Siena College, where I received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in History. I also minored in Political Science and received certificates in Pre-Law and Honors History. Outside of the classroom, I served three years in Student Government, including two as a Student Senator, and was elected President of the Siena College chapter of Phi Alpha Delta as a senior. I have experience serving in all levels of the judiciary branch, and through my legislative placements I have broad policy knowledge in both the State of New York and Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I have completed a wide array of academic studies, topics including: modern developments in the Korean peninsular conflict, foreign involvement in the Rhodesian Bush War/Zimbabwean War of Independence, a historiography of the Kennedy administration, executive decision-making during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the political genesis of the Twelfth Amendment, a critique of police accountability legislation with a specific focus on the State of New York, and a study of felon/parolee voting rights. Bar Admissions: New York State; US District Court for the Northern District of New York
