Hello! My name is Matthew (Matt) and I am a Certified Health Education Specialist with New Hanover County HHS where I specialize in promotion, education, and prevention. I have the privilege of leading our HIV/STD Outreach Program as well as co-leading the Safe Kids Cape Fear coalition. I was previously a Disease Intervention Specialist with NC DHHS as well as a Pharmacy Technician with Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. In addition to my full-time work, I am also a full-time graduate student at East Carolina University obtaining a Master of Public Health degree through Brody School of Medicine! I have been working in the healthcare industry since I was 16 years old and have loved it since the beginning.
