Matthew Mensch

In May of 2014, I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Post-graduation, I began working as an IT consult in military and manufacturing domains. As a full time consultant for GE Aviation (Military), I worked on analytics projects for the F404 and F414 engines. After 5.5 years working as a consultant, I transitioned to become a full time employee working as a Lead Data Engineer with Fifth Third Bank in the Enterprise Data Office (EDO). In the EDO, I worked as a lead data engineer on the Data Science Insights squad to build a customer recommendation engine that delivered highly-specialized, model driven recommendations to all the bank's customers through various channels on a daily basis. In October 2021, I was promoted to the role of Principal Data Engineer.
