Matthew Quinones

Matt has been actively working on the NYC music scene since his time as a student at New Jersey City University. He works across multiple genres, ranging from Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, Folk, and other forms of traditional music, to Reggae, Hip Hop, Funk and R&B on the electric bass and the acoustic string bass.He appears on tracks by well known Hip Hop artists Harry Fraud, Action Bronson, Smoke DZA, and more. His wide ranging love of music has led him down a rich and diverse path. In addition to a busy schedule of club dates and recording sessions with local bands and artists, he has performed in dozens of musical theater productions, orchestral concerts, and continues to work in secular chamber ensembles.
