Maureen O'Neill

I am a partner in the EU and Antitrust Team at Mason Hayes & Curran, one of the top six commercial law firms in Ireland. I have extensive experience in Irish, UK and European merger control, antitrust, State aid and regulatory law, with a particular focus on the communications sector. I advise national and international clients across a broad spectrum of industries, as well as national and European regulators. I've been involved in many high profile competition and sector investigations before the European Commission and national regulatory authorities in Ireland and the UK and my practice has also involved significant litigation before the European General Court. Before joining Mason Hayes & Curran in 2013, I practised in another leading Irish law firm with their Competition, Regulated Markets & EU Law Group. Prior to that, I practised as a Senior Associate in the Antitrust Group at Allen & Overy LLP in London. I began her career in Clifford Chance LLP, in the firm's European and Competition Group in London and Brussels.
