Having over twenty – eight years of gaming and hospitality experience through my work in the casino industry between Australia and overseas. I consider myself to have an energetic and passionate interest for the gaming industry in general. I have developed and managed multi-million dollar budgets, over 320 slot machines, gaming tables, TAB / Keno and 120 employees. In addition, I have also successfully managed the design and build of a new casino VIP Loyalty Room and Bar development. I consider myself proactive in the research of site specific slot product prior to any purchase, strongly believing it is a vital and cost effective strategy to any gaming floor success. I factor in many variables when choosing product with a strong focus on available variations to ensure the gaming floors ‘sweet spot’ is achieved, being the balance of turnover / win in order to maintain maximum utilisation whist achieving a consistent hold percentage. During my career I have worked closely with all departments including Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Compliance as well as the Marketing. With the latter I was involved to ensure the primary objective of increasing qualified visitation and growing the 20,000 membership. Tactics used to achieve success included campaigns promoting entertainment, restaurants, bars and function room offerings. I work closely with the Loyalty team to construct the mechanics of gaming and visitation promotions and I measure and analyse all results.
