Maziar Shams

Wealth Management Advisor Maziar Shams joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1991 and is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor in the Denver office. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. He focuses on custom wealth planning and allocation strategies for the ultra high net worth, foundations, endowments and family offices. Maziar has substantial experience in using derivatives to help achieve liquidity and diversification for holders of low cost basis, concentrated and restricted stock. Through resources provided by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Maziar and his team are able to offer access to services for drafting, executing and reviewing investment policy statements and customized wealth management plans. He received his BA in Economics & International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
