Melissa Pradia

An individual who has a variety of general working skills and completed pre-medical college courses, including BSL-1 and BSL-2 laboratory practices, and has a skill set of talents and knowledge that is ready to be refined in healthcare. I graduated from SFSU in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physiology and a Minor degree in Chemistry. During my undergraduate years, I took many pre-medical classes including extra science classes to obtain knowledge on human health. Along with these courses, I have taken many BSL-1 and BSL-2 laboratories where I obtained standard microbial applications and enhanced measures when working with microbes or infectious diseases. While obtaining my B.S. Degree, I provided services to elderly patients at a nursing home as an activity assistant. In addition, I also worked with data entry/analysis on medical records as a medical record assistant. So with these experiences, I have a very diverse knowledge of clinical expertise. Looking for early opportunities and experience in the medical field, I became a member of a non-organization, called Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere (MEDLIFE) at SFSU. From there, I became the non-organization’s Secretary to the then President to spread Our Mission and Vision in the Bay Area community.
