Meranda McLaughlin

I have over eight years of progressive experience in the public sector, with extensive knowledge of post-secondary matters. My role at the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission (MPHEC) is continuously evolving. In such a small (but mighty!) organization there are many opportunities to get involved in new and diverse projects - something I relish! Through my current position, I develop PSE-related policies, evaluate institutional compliance with regional standards, evaluate and report on the MPHEC's performance and impact, conduct complex research projects, assist in strategic planning and play a vital role in corporate communications. My policy experience extends to my graduate studies at the University of New Brunswick (which I just recently completed). I have spoken at local, regional and national events to share my research and connect with individuals and organizations able to put my findings into action.
