I am currently working for the United Postal Service (U.P.S.) Freight Distribution in Irving, Tx., as an Operations Supervisor. Some of the job duties I perform are as follow: Monitor city route loads for D.F.W. Metroplex to Corsicana confirming efficiency, appointment times are honored, and all due freight is accounted for/loaded out. As a Supervisor, I work the linehaul, dispatching several city drivers. I also match the hazardous freight loaded with the original bill of lading to the written manifest for the driver's consideration/ knowledge. I have experience with face -to- face interactions with several hundred customers on a daily basis while working both at Nike Retail in Grapevine and Tom Thumb Grocery Store in Flower Mound. I have learned how to resolve and deal with customer needs proactively. One of my goals is to attend Graduate School and receive my M.B.A. In the near future. (within a year of two). Specialties: Sale Persuasion techniques, Effective Business Communication (Writing) acquired during several classes at the University of Texas at Arlington (U.T.A.), Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and Word. Management strategies learned from business case study strategies. (Process management, Theoretical practices, operations management.) Management/Research teamwork projects during my college studies.
