While attending Arizona State University, I earned my Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Certificate through ASU’s part 141 training program and completed an Aviation Management Internship Program at Landmark Aviation (now Ross Aviation). As a graduate of the Air Transportation Management Program at ASU, I earned my Certified Flight Instructor Certificate and began flight instructing at ATP Flight School in Mesa, Arizona. I was promoted to Lead Instructor and Part 141 Check Instructor where I gave evaluations and Part 141 stage checks to students and instructors in the various phases of flight training. In October of 2018 I was hired as a First Officer by Compass Airlines (a former Delta Connection and American Eagle regional carrier) where I earned my Airline Transport Pilot License with an ERJ-170/ERJ-190 type rating. At Compass, I performed duties as Second In Command on the Embraer 175 in accordance with Part 121 regulations and company OpSpecs which included: preflight inspection, maintenance logbook verification, providing exceptional customer service to passengers, and assisting the PIC to safely complete passenger revenue flights and aircraft reposition flights. My main goal is to fly for a major airline. I also want to be involved in aviation-related community service, particularly that which involves introducing all aspects of aviation (airplanes, helicopters, seaplanes, historic planes, unmanned aircraft, etc.) to children around America.
