IFE has now become a worldwide leading manufacturer in the field of automatically, electro-pneumatically or electrically driven door systems for railway vehicles and the corresponding access devices (such as ramps, steps, etc.). With the subsidiaries IFE CR (CZ), IFE North America (USA), IFE-Iberica (E), IFE-Tebel Technologies (NL), Knorr-Bremse Australia (AUS) and IFE-Victall (PRC) as well as with 13 sales offices and a service network, the company group has been acting worldwide in the last years and is supported by numerous partners for sales and technical consulting - not least thanks to the integration of the international Knorr-Bremse structure. The history of IFE in the Czech Republic dates back to 1996, when the IFE-CR, a.s. Company was established on the basis of the Hády-Metall Company, a producer of windows and doors for trains. Currently there are about 530 employees working in the CTP Modřice plant and with a yearly output of 20 thousands doors, 12,5 thousands drive units and 3 thousands steps, we are the key production plant of the IFE Company.
