Leader, builder, strategical thinker, and problem-solving lover. In the last few years, I've managed a fantastic team of Scientists, Analysts, and Data/ML Engineers. We work on AI solutions across the Marketplace, focusing on business impact and providing insights to the business. We contribute to growing Jobandtalent from $50M (2017) to $1.9B (2022) in an incredible and ongoing journey. I like to give talks and explain complex topics to different audiences; I love to be involved in multiple investor pitches, due diligence, and board meetings – helping define the strategy. During 2022, I worked as interim CTO, leading the Tech Departments and growing the team from 100 to 260+ Engineers and Data talents. Improving the team organization, leadership collaboration, and transparency with the teams. With a focus on metrics, goals, and clear initiatives. My technical background is in Computer Engineering; I hold a Ph.D. In Computer Science focused on Recommendation Systems with Machine Learning methods. I'm the author of various US patents and research papers (e.g., SIGIR, RecSys, CVPR, ICMR, ICSWM, ICME).
