About
I am a first-generation Latinx woman deeply interested and passionate about comprehensive immigration reform. I am a rising junior at New York University studying public policy and history. Upon graduating from NYU, I plan to work in immigration policy research and pursue law school in the coming future. I have three years of first-hand experience working under an immigration attorney based in Newark, NJ, currently volunteer at an NYC-based pro se immigration clinic, and intern as a nonprofit consultant with Paragon One and PwC. I believe my experiences which are almost exclusively related to immigration and nonprofit work demonstrate my affinity and passion for this work. I will continue to foster my curiosity and affinity for immigration law and policy in my coursework and furthermore in an immigration policy and research internship. If you share these interests please feel free to connect and message me! .
