Mihajlo Nikolic

I’m a polymath and interdisciplinary professional. I flow easily in fields related to design, technology, business strategy and management. My curiosity and passion to break out-of-norms and to hack the employee mindset has always challenged me to find new opportunities. I enjoy doing work as a Solutions Architect or Creative Technologist, but also taking on advisory/chair and consultancy roles, often acting as an automation/A.I., and STEAM education advocate and contributor at tech and interdisciplinary events where Art, Science, and Tech meet. I am also a founder of a few companies that roll in these areas.For the past 23 years, I have been active in the digital scene, starting in design and multimedia and moving into tech. I’ve co-founded successful digital agencies, an R&D hub and a STEM Education company. My role at Athlon spans from being a Managing Partner for our Sofia studio to holding the role of a CTO for Athlon’s international scene (Sofia, London, New York and Toronto), where I lead technology and software innovation.My work at Athlon has played a key role as a technology solutions expert for our company and helping shape solutions for Zebra Technologies, BP, Epson, HP, Nokia, Google, Microsoft, Canon, Reebok, AOL, Pepsico, Motorola Solutions and many others. I also had the opportunity to be involved in many R&D projects and product development for enterprise clients. My path logically brought me to become the visionary and founder of Resonator, an R&D center and innovation hub. My latest project hosts various laboratories and acts as a bridge between industry needs & a wide community of experts. We help our clients their R&D and prototyping, managing their technology adoption and roadmap. Resonator has also a growing educational program in different engineering and non-engineering disciplines. Resonator is also home to Technokrati, the STEM education company I co-founded. With Technokrati we help schools implement STE(A)M programs, deliver STEAM and other subjects in-class with our teachers, and consult them when they need to invest in technology and upgrading their infrastructure. Outside of our B2B activities, we teach kids on a variety of subjects like robotics, renewable energy and sustainable living. My most recent venture is heading up the Balkan Engineering, Tech & Makers Association (BETMA) as the president of the board of directors. I'm a partner at Chucky's, Bulgaria's first specialty coffee place.
