Mike Glendinning

I am a senior business and IT architecture leader with a passion for improving businesses and organisations through the effective use of digital technology. Many years’ experience in architecture leadership roles at numerous blue-chip organisations has convinced me that this is possible by combining just the right amount of top-down architecture planning with bottom-up “agile” experimentation and delivery. To paraphrase John Wanamaker, half (perhaps all) of the money most organisations spend on their architecture activities is wasted. My mission is to change that – and fast! I delight in finding creative solutions to complex problems, formulating sound business and technical strategies and in applying systems thinking to the design and transformation of organisations as well as IT systems. My background is in management consulting and software development and I am both a chartered engineer (CEng) and chartered IT professional (CITP). Do get in touch if you want to know more.
