Mike Nichols

My work is twofold: I have the responsibility to meet the relational and often spiritual needs of every single client at Restoring Justice. On the other hand, I also have the responsibility to care for and cultivate the call that people sense in their life to do justice by giving themselves through volunteerism. I find myself at a peculiar bridge and intersection of faith, community building in my role. I approach my work at Restoring Justice with two goals in mind: (1) Ending mass incarceration one heart and client at a time and (2) pursuing what the Hebrews call shalom by seeking the good of those affected by the injustices of the criminal "justice" system. The wide range of experiences I've had over the years in sales, communications, media, leading ministry groups, community development initiatives & projects, marketing, branding, radio, and even music have all lead me to pursue justice and freedom for those considered to be the least. I've have been fortunate to cultivate the skill of coaching, speaking, and writing to communicate the needs of my community. Freedom should be free, and it should be for all!
