Mina Rexach

It is my goal in life to assist others in maintaining and improving their mental health so that they can live healthier and happier lives. As a member of the staff in a group home assisting elderly and mentally handicapped consumers it is my job to ensure that they are happy, healthy and safe in their environment and outside of their home as well. I have the opportunity to assist in every day cooking, cleaning and hygiene needs but also in activities meant to stimulate and simply make the consumer feel cared for. I am also a student at Colorado State University working towards my bachelor's degree in psychology so that I can further my career in the mental health field. I hope to one day help research and assist in creating more compreshensive treatment for those with Autism and other related diagnoses. My past positions in sales, customer service and management have given me an appreciation for how to work with clients to obtain a common goal. It taught invaluable skills to do with working within a team and providing excellent customer service.
