I am a Certified Meeting Professional and Digital Event Strategist and have been developing and implementing meetings, conferences, and events ranging in size from 45 to 28,000+ since 2001. I also have the expertise to maximize ROI for my employer and its clients. I am currently Meetings Manager with MGMA in the greater Denver area. MGMA’s membership of more than 45,000 medical practice administrators, executives, and leaders represent more than 12,500 organizations of all sizes, types, structures and specialties that deliver almost half of the healthcare in the United States. I am the lead planner for the State Leaders Conference and The Data Conference 2019 and have primary responsibility for concurrent session logistics, audio-visual, housing, and mobile app components of The Annual Conference. I also coordinate registration integrations with our digital and virtual event platforms and manage the relationship with our event technology partner, CadmiumCD. Previously, I was Meeting Planner for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, headquartered in Albuquerque, NM. At that time, ASRT represented more than 154,000 medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. There were four of us in the Meetings and Conferences department and we oversaw the Society's three largest annual meetings and conferences - the Educational Symposium, the Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, and the Radiation Therapy Conference. We also coordinated travel for staff and Board of Directors throughout the year, as well as partnered with other departments in planning their smaller events. I have a master of tourism administration and a bachelor of arts in American Studies, both degrees from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. I have conducted visitor impact studies of the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells, CA, as well as an in-depth study of the Cultural Olympiad as part of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. I also am a member of ASAE, MPI and PCMA.
