As a learning and development officer, it's my duty to ensure the on-going, long term improvement of employees' skills, which enable them to fulfill their potential within the organization. I believe I'm equipped to achieve this objective through: identifying training and development needs within the organization, designing and implementing training and development programs based on the need of the organization and the individual, working as a team member to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties, considering the cost of planned programs and keeping within the organization's budget, and assessing the return on investment. I'm also equipped to develop effective induction programs and conduct appraisals to monitor employees' performance. To ensure employees' engagement; I, as a learning and development officer, also contribute to developing team building activities.
