Mohamed Ibrahim

Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Professor Aisha Ahmad on projects studying security developments in the Middle East and Africa. My role as a research assistant is to provide support for the projects through literature review, data entry, and provide a primary analysis of the case. Throughout my studies as an undergraduate at the University of Toronto, I developed much intrigue in the affairs of Canadian Multiculturalism and Canadian Immigration, as well as attained skills of qualitative research, quantitative analysis, effective writing, and communication. These experiences have led to my goal of working for the Canadian government in Immigration and Foreign Affairs. Given my background in the studies of both international and local developments in Immigration and Foreign Affairs from academia, I can provide insight and knowledge, as well as utilize my research skills to assess contemporary works. In addition, having traveled the world as a young child, I have had the privilege to learn about many different cultures and customs.
