About

I, Monica Poulard Hawkins is Founder, CEO and Connector of Professional Pipeline Development Group (PPDG), a boutique management consulting firm that houses world-class thought leaders, strategists, and business executives in serving its client base of Fortune & Global 1000 Corporations, Heads of State, and Non-Profits. We work to help them reimagine their organizations for the future ad build capacity for impact in new ways. It has been an honor to gain a reputation through servant leadership and drive purposeful growth. My sweet spot is in disruptive intersections of discovery, bumping up against tradition to actually support leaders in "doing" what they say they want and need through people who may be stuck, resistant, hesitant, comfortable or just plain don't want to. It is the willing "hidden figures" that bring vision to life. I am known for telling the hard truths, and taking on the hard stuff. In doing so, together we change the world for the better. The world needs authentic leaders who are purpose-driven and willing to coach teams through. I am the daughter and niece of leaders who served with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, interned with Rev Gardner C. Taylor, and sat on Congressional and Senatorial Committees advocating for equality and justice in multiple sectors. Growing up and through the strength and emotional trauma of my family gave me skills, tools, perspective, and a voice which makes me willing and able to support global leaders bridge and translate their truths with and amongst each other. This manifested early in my career as I was assigned to lead a body of work while working at the U.S. Department of State commencing with Nelson Mandela’s release from prison, to his election as President through his first U.S. Head of State visit. It continued while managing the communications between two CEOs during a Corporate Merger in the Telecom Industry. Today, I am invited into the metaverse, I love living in our Moonshot Lab- (X-In Black). Most of all, I feel in this season, emerging scholars and early career leaders desire to live and work on purpose. Supporting them in their journey to greatness as they navigate the future of work is what I am here for it. All day, every day. We have work to do leaders. And any creativity you had is interrupted. Your people want to see how your leaders can navigate through this season and value them as much as you value profit, on purpose.
