I am a Community Worker, mentor, facilitator and educator. My work in the community over the last 7 years has focused on anti-oppression, equity, mental health and intersectional issues including race, ability & gender. At Black Women In Motion, we are dedicated to the advancement of African-Caribbean-Black women and committed to developing environments that empower young people to create their own success. In 2017, I co-founded The Black Youth Mental Health Alliance, a collective of youth-led groups whose purpose is to ignite conversations on how we can better address mental health, fight stigma, build resilience and transform communities and systems. I am passionated and dedicated to producing powerful outcomes in my community.
