I have gained over 20 years of experience working within the community services sector for both government and not for profit sector having gained extensive and valuable insight in the delivery of services by working in a variety of roles both in a supervisory, managerial and direct support capacity. My roles have included; Service Coordinator, Community Support Worker, Social Trainer, Project Officer for Community Housing projects, Project Manager for Joint venture housing projects as well as property management and my current role as LAC for NDIS. My greatest strengths are the willingness and commitments to embrace diversity, I am very passionate, flexible and adaptable in any work situation and I believe I am very focused and enjoy a challenge. My most passionate and enjoyable work experiences have been from my ability to draw out a person’s strengths and abilities. I do this by guiding and mentoring an individual to be the best they can be and enabling them to participate in life similar to that enjoyed by all members of the community. I am able to see the benefits for the clients I am supporting, which encourages and provides a sense of enjoyment, increase in confidence and empowerment for the client. I enjoy working as part of a team and I am a strong advocate for people with disability.
