Moritz von Grotthuss

Moritz v. Grotthuss is a German Serial Entrepreneur and Angel Investor. As a founder and CEO of gestigon GmbH he built, together with the CTO Sascha Klement, the global market leader for skeleton tracking and gesture control solutions. gestigon was acquired by Valeo in 2017 - Moritz and Sascha remained in charge for the successful integration and further development of the company. - In April 2019 both left Valeo to return into the startup world and jointly found a next company, Bareways. gestigon was acquired by Valeo in Febuary 2017 in a successful share deal. The exit was supported by the investment bank GCA Altium (Frankfurt) and the lawfirm Weitnauer (Munich). Moritz is a fully trained lawyer (Germany &a; Mexico) with &g;10 years of start-up experience as a consultant, early stage investor and manager. In 2012 he opened up an independent office for angel-consultancy for promising start-up companies. He is in the board of several innovative start-up companies and runs his private investment fund, GROTTHUSS INVEST.
