Mr. Wen’Zell Franklin started his customer service journey at the age of 15 when he was hired at his local McDonald’s in Saginaw, MI. The moment he stepped foot behind the counter, he realized that he had a passion for putting people first and developing others. By being persistent and committed to hold true to the McDonald’s standard, he quickly moved up the ranks in leadership to Crew Trainer and Shift Leader.Upon graduating from Saginaw High School with honors, he attended Eastern Michigan University to study Business Administration with a concentration in Management. While in college, he moved up the ranks in McDonald’s serving as a General Manager for McOpCo. In 2016, Wen’Zell graduated from Hamburger University and received the QSC&V Award. During college, he joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. where he served as the Associate Regional Director for eight states in the Great Lakes Region, National Pan-Hellenic Council President, and the Zeta Epsilon Chapter President. During this time, he was awarded Greek Man of the Year for three consecutive years, Most Improved Chapter Operations, and the AFLV National Division II Overall Excellence Award. In 2017, Wen’Zell graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Over the years, Wen’Zell has placed a focus on Operating as Design, Putting the Customer at the Core of Guest Experience, and Leading/Developing others. In 2019, Wen’Zell joined the Atlanta Field Office as an Operations Consultant to focus on deployment, training, and operations. In 2021, Wen’Zell relocated to the Chicago Field Office as a Regional Operations Associate to support the Michigan Business Unit for McDonald’s USA, LLC. The QSR Industry is forever changing, it requires a Results-Driven, Customer Obsessed leader. With the market share growing at a rate faster than we’ve ever seen before, positive leadership and strong operations is going to be the game changer in our industry.
