I have quality experience advising on projects in the Energy industry (with a bias for Gas commercialisation projects, being Nigeria's transition fuel) and natural resources across Africa and a wide range of clients, including project sponsors, lenders, contractors, and government agencies across the entire construction and project development value chain from project conceptualisation, design, construction and engineering, documentation, and financing to commissioning and operations and maintenance. With 3 years+ of post-qualified experience, I have: -Garnered specialist experience, having advised clients across the energy industry value chain (including upstream producers, off-takers, and other stakeholders in the midstream and downstream markets of both renewable and non-renewable energy sources) on some of the largest energy development projects with a cumulative deal value above US$5 billion. -Acted as the firm's contact point in drafting and negotiating over 30 core project documents, construction and engineering contracts, and feedstock supply contracts across the (renewable and non-renewable) energy sectors. -Significant experience advising on the bankability of energy projects with a focus on feedstock supply negotiation, risk evaluation, allocation, and proffering mitigation mechanics through contractual documentation and post-completion checks. -Considerable experience advising both the buy-side and sell-side in sector-defining (including future energy) M&As, restructuring, divestitures, and acquisitions.
