Munozovepi Gwata

My name is Munozovepi Gwata, I am a law student who continuously uses innovative methods to change the game for development in Africa. I am a dynamic person and a problem solver. If there is something that I need to know about, I will not only go and learn about it, but I will master it. Hence this drive and hard work ethic equips me to have a diversified skill set. I constantly strive to soar with the eagles. I also have a keen interest in the financial markets and started trading at the age of 17. In pursuit of gaining more knowledge about the financial industry, I have initiated the journey towards getting my Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification. My interest in the financial markets is what led me to start Kukura Capital. Kukura Capital is a platform that I started with the aim of making financial education easy and accesible. Through different materials such as blogs and videos, we aim on making people more financially literate so that they can make well informed financial decisions. I also strongly believe in community engagement and outreach, and as a result have an NGO called Kukura Foundation that goes to disadvantaged communities and give educational and motivational financial talks. My unique selling point is a rare combination of entrepreneurship, a growing knowledge of the law and of the financial markets, leadership, co-ordinating an online platform for learning financial literacy and the capacity to develop apps for the financial technology sector.
