My passion is to develop machine learning methods for physiological data analysis and closed-loop intervention systems. I am also interested in time-series analysis, classification, anomaly detection, and forecasting. I have developed Android applications for smartphones and smartwatches that predict motor symptoms in patients with Parkinson's disease (https://aim.autm.net/public/project/53569). The mobile application collects data through wearable accelerometers and, when the symptom is predicted/detected, delivers auditory and haptic cues for the patients via the smartwatch. The provision of external cues improves the symptom severity and quality of life.
