Nadia Abdel Rahman

I'm am currently an Assistant Professor of Mass Communication at Misr International University. I have taught Mass Communication at MIU since 2011. I am also Department Coordinator and Coordinator of the Television Journalism Program. I am a member of the Egyptian National Council for Bylaws at the Ministry of Higher Education and developed the Journalism programs/bylaws at Galala University in Galala/Ain Sokhna and Ibn Salman University in Sharm El Sheikh. At MIU, I am a member of a number of committees, including Quality Assurance, Research, University Ranking and the exam committee. I was awarded by MIU for my role in achieving NARS accreditation for our Faculty. I have an international education. My Bachelor of Mass Communication is from the American University in Cairo. My Master's degree in Educational Management is from Nova Southeastern University in the United States. I earned my Ph.D. In Media Studies/Sociology at Lancaster University in the UK. My education and work history have given me skills and experience in Educational Administration, Curriculum Development and Teacher Training. I was a school principal for eight years and an instructor of post-graduate studies in educational leadership at the American University in Cairo for another two years. I have been teaching since 1995.
