Naeem Girach

Currently working as a Senior Technician and designer at Pell Frischmann applying my design skills in water infrastructure and waste water projects. Prior to me finding this role, my journey consisted of a RIBA part-2 qualification that came alongside valuable professional experience in the architectural sphere. My recent endeavours have culminated in a cohesive balance between conceptual, critical thinking and a working understanding of industry standards and regulations, with industry knowledge in architecture as well mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering. I have graduated with excellence in my masters degree (MArch) with my comprehensive design thesis and dissertation being 1st's and my design work being chosen to be used for my university's brochures and marketing. My architectural sensitivities align with sustainable, environmental, people-oriented designs and their contextual implications at a micro and macro scale. I am a highly versatile designer who has a unique and progressive design ideology that adapts and responds eloquently to project briefs. I consider myself as someone that has his finger on the pulse of an ever-shifting industry (architecture) and other closely related industries such as engineering, economics, and advances in IT/technology. Along with purposeful and innovative design, my aspirations resonate deeply with 3D Parametricism, advances in augmented and virtual reality, and also 3D visualisation and visual effects. Also, I follow an ethos that considers architecture and city infrastructure as part of a wider ecology and as a holistic system, and this is why during my years at university all my projects were influenced by my interest in sustainability, biomimicry, and adaptable design, all in the hope of creating innovative and purposeful solutions to age-old problems. I have an excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Sketchup, Revit and Rhino 3D. I am also currently improving my 3Ds Max skills whilst learning Cinema 4D and Blender and also possess proficient hand drawing and model making skills. I can demonstrate advanced visualisation skills using software such as Vray and Lumion as rendering tools with Adobe Photoshop for post-production. I also have industry experience using common data environments and worked in accordance to latest ISO standards. I have gained valuable industry experience under the tutelage of architects, engineers, and company directors and have worked through RIBA stages 0-4 which has resulted into me becoming a well rounded designer.
