Over 15 years SAS experience in the Banking Credit Risk & Financial Services sector, I initially started as a Credit Risk Analyst, learning and understanding the Credit Life cycle of Banking Services before honing my craft in MI and Data Warehousing. I am an expert in SAS programming and process automation, working with complex data marts & star-schemas. I have been responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical processes with high volume of data such as Retail Delinquency & Collections processes which feed directly into Basel II capital calculations. I have built reporting suites from first principles which became essential BAU activity, and have used my SAS programming Skills and Business knowledge to investigating ad-hoc data queries and process enhancements. My desire to better myself made me SME on many facets of the Banking Risk business, including Basel Modelling & Liquidity, and enabled me to effectively support and influence the Credit Risk function in keeping abreast of customer activity and risk appetite.
