I have BA in Languages, a post graduation in Translation and MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL. I worked as an English teacher for 13 years in Brazil at Cultura Inglesa Uberlandia and as an atonomous freelance translator for 5 years, proofreader for a year and subtitle editor for a year. I also worked on a ship cruise for 2 contracts as a youth staff, in charge of kids and teens entertainment. I lived in Cambridge, UK, for over 2 years studying and improving my English first in 2007/2008, and then to do my MA in 2014/2015. The first time I lived here I worked in a supermarket for 5 months, Sainsburys, doing grocery online. While I was doing my MA I worked in 2 pubs and 1 café/restaurant; and also as a babysitter. I quit my jobs to focus on my MA dissertation, which I submitted in May 8th, 2015. After that, I've been moving back and forward, between Brazil and Cambridge, and doing a bit of everything: teaching English back home and working in restaurant and café in Cambridge until January 2018. Then I started looking for jobs in my area of studies. I ended up working as an Activity Leader in Cambridge Melchior College in Willingham. After that, I worked at a breakfast club in Milton Rd Primary and after school club in St John's college school. Tired of commuting 4x a day to go to those 2 jobs to work only 4hrs a day, I found a job in a nursery 5min from home, in Northstowe. Meanwhile, I kept looking for jobs in my area of studies and finally got this wonderful opportunity at Alpha, a place I have always wanted to work at, a dream job.
