Naief Yahia

I'm a bilingual lawyer and joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2009. I have been working in Dubai since 2006. I gained experience in various areas of practice (including: construction and commercial, banking, property and corporate related matters). I received my Bachelor of Law degree from Cairo University, English Section and I was admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association. I use my wide knowledge of local laws, commercial and legal acumen and practical experience to the best of my abilities in conducting all commercial and civil litigation cases with the commercial reality and the clients’ interest in mind. I have particular expertise in Construction related contentious matters before the UAE Courts and have been advising clients on local laws issues with regards to arbitration claims/cases and I have been working closely with Al Tamimi and Company’s Construction and Arbitration team on large disputes including cross borders disputes in the region. I have also delivered a number of expert's opinions on construction local laws in arbitration disputes in Dubai. In addition, I enjoy particular experience in relation to enforcement proceedings of arbitral awards. I have been described in Legal 500 as “Naief Yahia, whose UAE court work inspires ‘considerable confidence’.” I have also been described by clients in Chambers Global as “Hard-working and extremely skilled, despite his young age.” I'm also a key member of the banking litigation team. I have delivered a number of workshops and seminars to clients in relation to Civil law, arbitration enforcement, and Construction, banking and properties laws related topics.
