Nano Shadung

Nano is hard working, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for people. Her schooling and work experiences have allowed her to develop strong communication and relationship building skills, as well as the ability to think quickly and adapt swiftly to new and challenging environments. She is proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Nano was a member of the Student Public Relations Association at the University of Johannesburg which enabled students to perform various community projects, and seeks to connect them with corporates. Through her SPRA membership Nano was connected to the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation, where she completed a Public Relations and Communication internship role. Later on Nano connected with Rianette Leibowitz founder and CEO of SaveTNet Cyber Safety who mentored her with regards to performing as a Public Relations Practitioner. Nano later joined Ornico as a Media Monitor. Through Ornico she managed to perform various roles and to grow her capabilities. She is currently a member of Ornico Internal Marketing and she is also a presenter and producer for Ornico news which is published every month with an objective to keep employees entertained and informed with organisational news. Nano worked on the CEO Sleep Out 2016 initiative as a media representative through Ornico. Nano recently got promoted to Marketing Assistant at Ornico Group and worked as a marketing Assistant. Her objectives are to develop relevant and competent skills, and pursue a career in the Public Relation and Communication profession and linking professionals like advertising and marketing. Furthermore, to improve her knowledge in the writing for Public Relations, social media and events management field as these skills will help contribute greatly to the Public Relations industry in the long run.
