I'm the person in my project that you come to when you need something done! Pretty general right? Let me break it down for you. I provide program-level operational support with a bit of scrum action in the mix. I work on synchronizing, de-bugging & improving the ways we work in Telstra energy, supporting our executive team and assisting them in programme related activities, risks and change management. I also do the heavy lifting for preparation & project reporting in line with our company's objectives and key results and my personal favourite - going over and above to support and create an awesome work culture for our team so as they operate at an optimal level and support them on various matters to meet our collective goal for our customers. What I Value and Enjoy is… -Working collaboratively with people and taking a genuine pleasure in conversing with staff and colleagues on all levels as well as with stakeholders and customers. I value input from others and have a desire to reach mutually positive outcomes in my interactions. -Our Environment. I actively work on altering my lifestyle to reduce my carbon footprint through walking to work, recycling and cutting red meat from my diet. The latest step I have taken has been my new job role at Telstra Energy where we are passionate about reducing our emissions, offsetting our carbon footprint and investing in renewable energy. -Reading, sea documentaries and hill walking (preferably in Scottish mountains, but the Aussie ones aren’t too bad either) Superpowers... -Work ethic. I am wholeheartedly, 100% dedicated to any job role I commit to. I might not always know the answer straight away, but my drive prevents me from giving up and I will continue to search until I have found a solution. -Communication. I have been known in all of my work places as someone who could handle any situation; I thrive in drawing a benefit and positive relationship from a difficult conversation. -Organisation and Planning. From managing time sensitive projects and processing copious amounts of data to find inconsistencies to cleaning my home. It’s something that brings me enjoyment and satisfaction. Unique to me... -I have a mind that runs a million miles an hour, so I practice mindfulness and apply this in the workplace. -I enjoy utilising my Scottish sense of humour to defuse awkward or tense situations in team meetings or simply to remind my colleagues to find the silver lining.
