Naomi Faroogh

With a keen love and respect for children, my contribution to society is that of a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a passion to share the pedagogy of Montessori Education with children, families and community at large. My experience through co-operative education placements at incredible organizations such as Early Intervention Services York Region and The Centre for Dreams has provided me with an unique skill-set to work with children and people of all ages with special needs. To give back to the community, I volunteer with Hand Over Hand, a non-profit young adult group which strives to create social opportunities for young adults with special needs. As an educator I enjoy sharing my passion for arts and culture with children. I choreograph dance for children, teach one-to-one children's piano lessons and bring authentic visual art experiences to children. As a MACTE accredited Montessori directress, belonging to a family of educators, I contribute to the authentic Montessori education of children through our family-owned childcares established in York Region: Radiant Way Montessori and Montessori North School. It is my goal to provide children with an environment in which they will experience the 'Joy of Learning and Love of Life' that will endure for the rest of their lives. It is a privilege to serve families and children in York Region.
