About
Achievements: -Attained an A in my dissertation 'Human rights and the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Are there sustainable measures in place to prevent forced labour in the UK?' where I critically analysed and determined whether the Act adequately protects human rights and does enough to deter forced labour. -Graduated with 3.67 grade point average, high 2:1 Law LLB. -Upheld a first class grade point average in my final year of university, attaining As and A+. -Successfully able to partake in a semester of Erasmus+ at the University of Groningen covering an array of EU and international law modules, as well as expanding my Dutch language skills. -Chosen by the programme leader of Law to partake in a student panel to choose the new Dean of the Law School for session 2019/2020. I was honoured to be put forward to be part of a student panel to watch interviews for the new Dean of the Law school. I was able to show my analytical skills by voicing my opinion on the candidates to the members of staff also present. I enjoyed this as again it grew my confidence and public speaking. -Chosen to represent the university at a Santander Business event in 2019. After I had given a presentation in front of staff, students and third-party persons at a Santander event which improved my advocacy skills at my university, a member of staff put me forward as a student to represent the university down in London. I felt incredibly humbled as it meant I had left a good impression during my initial presentation. This excursion took place at the Tottenham Hotspurs new stadium. -Successfully chosen out of many candidates to be the Campus Ambassador for Legal Cheek.
