About

Currently, I am a user experience researcher manager at Meta. Previously, I was a Health Outcomes Research Manager at Kantar Health, responsible quantitative research study design, analyses, and dissemination of results of real-world research to help quantify disease burden and unmet patient needs. I also managed a team of three biostatisticians. --- After graduating from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, I worked as a mental health counselor for formerly homeless, mentally ill, substance abusing adults. Afterward, I was employed at the University of Chicago as a research study coordinator. I began to cultivate my skills as a researcher by working on two large-scale, grant funded (R01) research projects. I continued to use those research and project management skills as a Ph.D. Graduate in Social Psychology, with a minor in quantitative analysis, from UCLA. I had designed, executed, and analyzed research resulting in a first-authored manuscript, professional PowerPoint talks, and poster presentations. In my academic research, I had worked with multiple methods (including both online and lab survey & experimental methods) and advanced analytic techniques (regression, ANOVA, multilevel modeling). I had predominantly used SPSS and Excel for over 10 years as well as have used SAS, HLM, EQS, and Access. Additionally, I worked as a teaching assistant/fellow throughout my years at UCLA, teaching multiple research methods courses, resulting in the conceptualization and implementation of over 100 research studies as well as managing and training over 45 teaching assistants on how to instruct the research methods course. The experience I gained as a teaching fellow and training other teaching assistants gave me the ability to refine my communication skills and improve my ability to convey information effectively. Lastly, I had managed multiple teams of research assistants, ranging from 3-12 assistants depending on the needs of the research project.
