Natalie Blysniuk

I am always looking for opportunities to learn and to push myself to my limits; you can never contribute too much. I've spent the last two years of my life learning about science and biology at UWO - I can't wait to learn more in this field, but I can't wait to learn more in every field I can. Science is my main focus, but I am currently the incoming VP Communication for UWO's Ukrainian Student's Club. I will be focusing on expanding our media presence and increasing our club's involvement. My personal goal is to gain creative experience in marketing and advertising, while taking our club to the next level. I am also the incoming Secretary for SUSK (Ukrainian Canadian Student's Union), a Canada-wide organization that has been greatly professionalized in recent years. In this position, I hope to fulfill my duties to the best if my abilities as well as increase role efficiency. Personally, I wish to learn about the inner workings of a professional non-profit organization and to put my advocacy skills to the test. We have big plans for this year, and I can't wait to help put them in motion. My focus is science and research and making changes that will benefit lives across the world, but that will never be enough for me. I will always aim to expand my horizons and learn as much as I can as about as many fields as possible, never stop trying to grow those neural connections! I am currently looking for interesting summer opportunities that will help me grow my mind and my skills; anything from research to marketing and beyond.
